The Kelly party numbered about seventy, including her parents, Jack and Margaret, and her sister Peggy (her matron of honor), three of her bridesmaids — Judy Kanter, Maree Frisby, and Bettina Thompson — and more than fifty friends. The celebra- tory feeling of the wedding party made the voyage one long festivity, or as it was described by a brides- maid, “a floating summer camp.” April 1956.
